February 2026 Athlete of the Month
Paige Kuczmarski
Coach’s Thoughts: Paige has been a long-standing member of the morning crew. Small but mighty is an understatement. When challenged, she delivers with big lifts and a big smile. While we’re excited for her as she steps into a new job in February, she will be deeply missed in these early morning hours, but know she won’t be able to stay away too long as she chases her 200lbs back squat goal!
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I've been doing CrossFit for 5 years. I started because of my mom, she inspired me to give it a try.
Favorite Movement?
Favorite movement is dumbbell snatches and backsquats!
What advice would you give to someone who is hesitant to start CrossFit?
I always tell anyone to give Crossfit a try at least once because there's all types of people with different backgrounds and it's not scary! Any movement can be modified and everyone is there to get a work out in.
Favorite thing about CCF?
Favorite thing about CCF is the lifelong friends I have made and that they support me in all areas of life! Also being able to help Helen with CrossFIt Kids when I first started is a memory I will always cherish! Helen is a big reason I continue to do CrossFit. When I first started I was going to noon classes and Sangeeta made sure I was welcomed! Now I will be taking care of her because she is my 2nd mom. Then I went to 5:30am and I think we can all agree we are just happy we showed up hahah. I will miss my morning crew, but I know we will go out drinking!
What do you do when you’re not at CCF (job, hobbies, other fitness, etc)?
I am starting a new job a Suburban Hyundai in Troy and I will be in sales! So if you need a car come see me. When I am not working or working out I am most likely watching a tv show. I love Friends and Seinfeld!
What is your next big fitness goal?
Next big fitness goal is 200lb backsquat.
